I've learned many skills from many trades, whether it be model making, carpentry, fabrication, mold making, and even more. All these have led me to be the maker I am today. Until recently, I didn't look at fine art as a career. But that has shifted in the past two years, and now I have a studio practice in South Atlanta and work in Fine Art Handling and Logistics.
Studio
Here is the view of my studio. My friend John and I are currently renting this space in South Atlanta. We are building it out so we can continue to produce artwork outside of school. One thing I've been told by my professors is it's extremely hard to continue a career in fine arts and seeing that most of the friends who graduated over the past two years have done very little with their degrees or career paths, I'm using the fear of failing and seeing what could happen to keep me going. #professorknowlesisthebest #art #fineart #studio #blog

Art Handling
Over the past couple of months, I've been working for Bonsai Fine Art. I was brought on as a carpenter for the woodshop but have since expanded into filling other roles as needed. However, the crate shop takes up most of my time as there's always something that needs a crate to be transported. Since starting here, I have made connections and seen sides of the art world I don't think I would have been able to see if I hadn't got this job offer.
